Send Crypto Payouts

This guide explains how to send a cryptocurrency payout from your prefunded balance using the Paybis Partner Portal.

Prerequisites

Before you can send crypto payouts, you must have the Send Crypto role assigned to your Partner Portal account. Contact your Paybis account manager to request this permission if you don't have it.

How to Send a Crypto Payout

Log in to the Paybis Partner Portal and open Accounts > Send as crypto. A payout has three steps: Amount, Wallet and Review.

1. Amount

You spend: The fiat amount deducted from your prefunded balance.
Will be received: The cryptocurrency amount the recipient receives. Select the cryptocurrency from the list. The equivalent in your balance currency is shown below.

Enter an amount in either field; the other field is calculated from the current rate.

Quote allows you to create quotes in two directions:

Fiat-to-Crypto (Fix Fiat Amount): Enter a specific fiat amount in the You spend field. The recipient receives the equivalent crypto amount after fees are deducted. Use this when you want to control exactly how much fiat is deducted from your balance.

Crypto-to-Fiat (Fix Crypto Amount): Enter a specific crypto amount in the Will be received field. The recipient receives this exact crypto amount. The equivalent fiat cost (including fees) is deducted from your prefunded balance. Use this when the recipient must receive a precise crypto amount.

After you enter an amount, the page shows:

the rate (for example, "1 BTC = ... GBP") with a countdown timer and a Refresh quote link;
the Service fee and the Network fee;
your current and remaining balance.

Click the send button to continue (it shows the currency of the balance you send from, for example Send GBP).

2. Wallet

Depending on your account setup, you either select a saved address or enter one:

Saved addresses: Select the receiving wallet address from your saved addresses. You can search by name, label or address. Newly added addresses stay in "pending activation" status for a period; to activate them immediately, contact your Paybis account manager.
Enter an address: Enter or paste the receiving wallet address for the selected network, and enter a payment reference (required). Check the address carefully: sending to the wrong address may result in permanent loss of funds.

The Details panel shows the total transaction amount, the crypto amount to send, the fees, and the balance the payout is sent from. Use Cancel sending to leave without sending.

3. Review and Confirm

The Review step shows the payout details to check before you confirm:

Total to pay, and the Total fees split into Service fee and Network fee
The cryptocurrency amount to send
The Rate, with a countdown timer
The Reference
Send from: your balance, with the current and remaining balance
Send to external wallet: the receiving wallet address

Ensure your prefunded balance has sufficient funds, and check all details carefully. Then click Confirm to submit the payout with the verification code. Click Cancel sending to leave without sending.

Security Recommendation: Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for withdrawal transactions via your Account manager. Each payout will require confirmation via one-time password (OTP).

4. Monitor Transaction Status

Once the payout is initiated, you can monitor its status in Transactions tab.
You will also receive webhook notifications about the payout status.

Important Notes
✅ Verify wallet address: Always double-check the recipient's wallet address before confirming. Cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed.
✅ Check sufficient balance: Ensure your prefunded balance can cover the payout amount plus fees before initiating the transaction.
✅ Confirm network compatibility: Verify the wallet address matches the selected blockchain network (e.g., don't send ERC-20 tokens to a Bitcoin address).
